On Thursday night The Bunker's Call of Duty team returned to the top of the TrueRank ladder. Playing against the GBu team from Guf in Ballarat, the Dark Angels got out to an early lead in the first half as the attacking team in Call of Duty 4. Leading 10-2 at the half-time break, the team consolidated well on defence taking the win 13-4 before finishing out the match 19-5.

The Dark Angels had a disappointing result last week forfieting due to the unavailability of players. Despite the forfiet, Thursdays win catapults the Dark Angels back to the top of the TrueRank Call of Duty ladder. The team is now in a commanding position in the season and are guaranteed to make the finals. The challenge the team has set themselves with two matches left is to ensure they finish on top of the ladder.

Battle of the Lans
As part of the games festival, TB will be host to the Battle of the Lans. Teams will play against each other in a epic triathlon of games. Include are Counterstrike, Warcraft DOTA and one mystery game... Whats the mystery game I hear you say??

Well I could tell you but then I would have to shoot you. Nevertheless rest assured it will be something that is a bit of fun for the onlookers and will make a more level playing field for the those contestants not so adept at Warcraft and Counterstrike...

The Bunker will be hosting the national finals for the Australian Community National Competition on Saturday and Sunday the 24th/25th of November.

There will be 18 teams involved with the Counter Strike finals. Saturdays competition start with two groups of 5 teams at 10am. A further 2 groups of 4 teams will start play at 5:30pm.

On Sunday, the final competition will kick off around 10am using 40 Pc's

The groups will be drawn out of a hat on Friday night around 7pm at TB.

The long awaited add-on for World of Warcraft is finally here. As most of you would know there have been signs up in most software stores advertising the pre-order sales for Burning Crusade for a little while now.

On Thursday the 11th of January 2007 the game will be available for purchase. For those of you who are interested we will have a limited number available for purchase in the shop.
